I have searched high and low for a pair of slippers that would keep my feet truly warm AND stay on my narrow back heel AND be wide enough in the toe box to not piss off the Morton’s Neuroma in my left foot. This slipper wins through and through. Also worth noting, I have Raynaud’s and these keep my toes so warm and toasty. It’s such a relief to no longer shiver all day. For those wondering, the insoles are removable. I initially put my Aetrex insoles in there, but found the memory foam insoles that come in the shoes are significantly more comfortable. Overall these have serious cushion and serious warmth. I wish I had found these years ago!

I bought these to walk the dog in New England cold temps, and they are perfect. They slip on, keep your feet warm, and are built for outdoor use. They are very comfy. I ordered a size 9, and usually wear an 8.5-9. If I bought again, I would buy a size down to an 8, as they are a little large. Wore them in the snow and rain and they resisted water enough, but made my feet colder. Keep in mind that they are water resistant, not waterproof, so it’s not a replacement for snow or rain boots in severe weather, but overall a great outdoor slipper.

I live in Colorado and use these booties as my house slippers. Our wood floors get so cold, and I can run outside in snow to grab the paper and take trash out because the traction is great. I can wash dishes, and my feet do not get wet if water drips. These are very comfortable, after me having mine for a year… my husband bought a pair for himself and he loves them too.
I like practical comfortable shoes that are also a bit stylish.

actually, my previous review was wrong, since I ordered a size smaller. I returned thesize 9 and received the size 10, my true shoesize. Love these booties. I personally will wear them with a thin sock. Good traction outdoors. and overall very warm. they are true to size ( when you order the right size). Good arch support. Color very nice. A good buy for a versital bootie/slipper. 🙂

I love these booties! They are perfect for Colorado winters-keeping my feet cozy and dry on a trip outside with the puppy. The non-slip tred on the bottom is an added bonus and hard to find in a slipper.

I bought these to wear as slippers around the house. They are comfortable, lightweight and warm. I don’t think they would be very comfortable to wear for long periods outside because there is no arch support. I have the light gray color and I like it very much. These are comfy slippers and definitely serve the purpose I purchased them for.

I use these boots to take the dog out for quick walks or to play in the yard when it’s cold, snowing or raining.
They slip on easily and come off just as easy (without me having to bend down).
They’re meant for camping so not really for long walks on the sidewalk. I wear these without socks. I go from slipper to these and back into my slippers when I’m back inside.
I am a 7.5 (38) and got the size 7. I would’ve loved a bit more toe room but they don’t come in half sizes. My right foot is slightly bigger than my left. An 8 would’ve been too big. I’m happy with the fit and the way they look. My feet stay toasty even in 20 degree weather. (Again, I’m only out for 15 minutes in them and don’t use them for long walks.) There is no arch support but that’s ok for jaunts.
I’m super picky and glad that I was able to find booties that fit my purpose. These boots are also super light so you can pack them and take them with you.

These are sooo comfortable! I wear these with jeans and joggers. I’ll also wear them around the crib and over other people’s crib

In between sizes, and the toe felt really weird. If I sized up, they would’ve been too big. Wishing for 1/2 sizes!!

I usually wear a 6.5 and I bought a 6, but these will still only fit if I have socks on. I love when a slipper has a snug fit so I don’t need socks, so this wasn’t a hit. I did get them with a discount, though, and don’t live near a store to return to. I don’t like mailing in returns because I don’t know if they will get lost, so I am keeping them anyway. They are otherwise made well. If you have very wide feet, these would probably be great for you, but narrow footed shoppers may not like the fit.

I’ve had these slippers for a little over a year. I have loved them and wear them every day during winter– they keep my feet warm and I love the thick waterproof sole if I need to pop outside. However, the insoles are already worn down and not very supportive after only a year. I needed to clean my slippers after a run-in with my muddy dog (I tried to find care instructions online with no luck), so I washed them on a hand wash cycle, and the insoles came out with holes in them. Lesson learned: do NOT put these slippers in the washer! I’m now debating whether to buy new insoles or find a different pair of down slippers elsewhere. I got these because I thought they would last, but they didn’t live up to my expectations of North Face products.

When I first got these, they were amazing. They are really soft, warm, and the memory foam sock liners were great. A few months in, and now the liners are completely flattened. Wish I could buy replacement for them, because the rest of the shoe is holding up great!

I loved these and wish that they did not have a very strong musty smell that was so bad it filled a room and gave me a headache…i even aired them out for a couple days outside!

I think there are probably 20 things in my life that I used for multiple consecutive years and think, “wow, this turned out to be a pretty good buy” – this is one of them. I use them for primarily for low key physical tasks around the house/property, as well as camping (they’re fantastic for camping). They’re pretty much just sleeping bags with a rubber sole, so the comfy factor is 11/10. That said, because they are basically slippers, THEY’RE DON’T HAVE A LOT OF SUPPORT, NOR ARE THEY GOOD FOR WATER, DEEP SNOW OR LAVA. They’re slippers, people, slippers. Stop reviewing these with the assumption they should perform like your cross-trainers or hiking boots. Saw some guy complaining because they didn’t hold up in rain – what? Just buy them…unless you expect to hike or play flag football in them. They’re awesome.

These booties are fantastic! I have 3 pair now and I hope Northface keeps making them for years to come. I’ve only worn the first pair I ordered 3 years ago and they still look brand new. They are the black with black logo. I bought 2 additional pairs this past fall for backup in case Northface stops making them. They look great, are super comfy, are really durable, easy on/easy off, keep my feet warm and dry when wearing outside in the rain or snow and they clean easily with a damp cloth. I honestly have no complaints.

These are perfection. I wear them all the time. They are warm, easy to put on and take off, have decent traction, look nice, comfortable and wash under the faucet drying very quickly. Get a pair.

I wear these as slippers in my home, and I love them. The color is terrific, sizing is spot on, very cozy and keep my ankles warm, too. We have hardwood floors, and the traction is wonderful, especially for going up and down the steps. I appreciate that greatly since I have slipped on the steps quite a few times. They were surprisingly wide enough for my C-D width, and I am delighted that they fit so comfortably. Another super feature is how easy they are to slip into and slide off. To sum it up, they are lovely slippers, and I so enjoy wearing them. Thanks, TNF, for a Winner!

A friend of mine has a pair like this and loves them. I tried the on, liked what I felt on my foot so I purchased a pair and love them. Support and warmth, are the two things I was looking for in a slipper.

these shoes are so warm and comfortable! so glad I finally bought them. i would recommend sizing down slightly, especially if you are in between two sizes, they run a bit big.
Warm T –
I have several pairs of these slippers and they last a long time. NF does not make replacement inner pads, despite their business model. Be prepared to throw away perfectly good slippers.

I ordered my first pair of these booties elsewhere and my size (10) had my toes touching the ends of the shoes. I ordered in 11 and it fits fine. It hasn’t been cold enough yet to verify how warm they actually are.
Brie –
I LOVE these! I’ve had the mules for a couple years, but I’m heading on a long road trip and wanted a new pair to bring with, so I figured I’d get the booties this time to wear around the campfire and in the van. The only thing is that a lot of reviews say they’re too big, so I sized down, but they were way too small. For reference I normally wear size 7 or 7.5; I ordered a 7, but I could feel the front seams pressing on my toes. Reordered a size 8 and they’re a perfect fit. Maybe North Face changed the sizing after so many people said they were too big? Because those reviews seem inaccurate. But these are the BEST slippers once you find the right size!
Yasmin –
Love them. Very comfy and warm. Easy to slip on and off. Just one thing I noticed, the vinyl North Face logo at the heal (inside) the letters were coming off a week into wearing them. They are completely off now. No logo inside the slipper but that’s okay. Just be weary if you have pets with a penchant for eating stuff off the floor. That’s how I knew. I saw the cat chewing on something and had to get it out her mouth. Some were found in Roomba and on the carpet on the stairs.

I love these shoes you can wear them around the house I wear them to work. They are water repellent very comfortable and warm and I love the color.

I am a huge fan of the ThermoBall Traction slippers and booties. In fact, they were my go to Christmas present for several people last year and one this year. Super comfortable and keep your feet really warm in the Minnesota winters. One thing to note…I like them so much that I wore them mostly outside and when shopping. I wore them too long when I was doing all day walking outside and the mall and ended up with planter’s whatever it is called on the heal of one foot. I had this same problem when wearing my Uggs too much, so this is a problem with my foot shape. Not necessarily going to happen to you, but thought I would throw it out there for your consideration.
