Steph –
I needed a long coat for the ice rink this winter. I have not tested how cold I can go (assuming I’ll layer, which I prefer ) . I know north face fits me from previous coats. I was worried I may not be able to zip it up and it fits me perfectly ! . ( larger on bottom smaller on top)

I use this parka for hiking. I have it in black and purple. I got them in size medium. I am 5’2 and both of them fit me perfectly. The only con I have is the elastic on the waist. I don’t like it, but I stretched it all the way…problem solved.
Stephanie –
This jacket is really warm and comfortable. I was in 20-30 degree wet/snowy weather when I wore it. The sweater that I wore wasn’t very bulky. I recommend sizing up for bulkier sweaters underneath.

The fit was awesome, i ordered a medium i am 5’5” 165 pound and it fit me.

It does run true to size. It isn’t as tight as other north face jackets. Feels super warm, light and packable. I live in WI and am about to experience a 20 degree high for about a week. I have good feelings this coat will keep me toasty warm without chocking me like ralphy in a Christmas story! LOL

This is a really nice mid weight parka to zip around in! I got the green, which is a deep olive. Nice option to everyone wears black.
Fit great for wearing sweaters underneath. Really enjoying this one!

Very cute coat! Warm. Packable. A little tight around the chest but I didn’t have time to try the size up before my trip. Very stylish and comfortable.

This year’s style is more fitted than last year’s plus the bungee tab gets in the way. Wished they still had last year’s style available.

Ordered two sizes, small (my normal size) and medium. The small is fitted (unlike last year’s style) and the medium is way too big. Wish they would bring back last year’s style which was a-line and had no bungee tab/cord. Returning since neither one worked for me.

The Thermoball Eco Parka is very flattering and pretty true to size. I say “pretty true” because I typically buy a medium, but I always buy a large in this parka. It’s flattering, warm and lightweight….perfect for in-between seasons or for winter when I’m in and out, or shopping and don’t want to drag a heavy coat. I love the hood for possible rain. I have this in navy and black. My favorite coat.
Megs –
Love this jacket. Super warm while lightweight and comfy. I would suggest sizing up if you want to layer and especially if you have a larger chest.

Fit was perfect all around, hit at waist, sleeve length, body length; warm and roomy enough for winter under layers but not bulky. Good is great for rain and sleet block

I usually do not write reviews but this coat deserves one. I initially bought a large but returned it because contrary to another review, the fit was perfect. Wore it on my trip to London. The weather there was mild enough. Extremely light weight and also has a flattering fit. Would definitely recommend this coat. I guess if you do choose to layer something beneath it you may want to go a size larger.

I have a NF Thermoball short jacket I bought a few years ago and loved the fact that the jacket is warm but very lightweight. I was looking for something longer and lightweight like my jacket. This coat provides good warmth and is great for running in and out of stores without having to lug a heavy coat around. I usually wear a small and the fit was ok but wouldn’t be able to layer a sweater underneath so I exchanged it for a medium which fits good. I live in New England and the weather varies. if your looking to layer with a nice sweater for warmth size up. If layering is not needed I would order your regular size. Some of the reviews didn’t like the fact that you can cinch the waist giving it more definition so it’s not boxy looking/straight. I love the fact that the coat has this option. It gives it some style and looks nice. It also zips up from the bottom which is a nice option when sitting. I ordered it in the gray heather. It’s not a light gray, it’s on the darker side more like a bluish gray. It’s a great coat.

Looks good, light weight, comfortable, zips up & can zip open at bottom.
However, there is no way to just hold closed at waist like a button or snap or tie,
if you don’t want it to blow open you have to zip it.

Runs TTS. Buy this TODAY! Such a great coat at a great deal.

Runs small for the north face brand. I’m always a solid size small and in this jacket the medium fit best. I’m 5’5 and 118 pounds and like to layer with a tee shirt and a light sweater or sweatshirt. The medium allows for the extra layers. The small was just too snug for any layers. Very cute style that you can smush up and put anywhere in a pinch.

I got size large . loose style comforts me It is my work coat :hood , deep pockets, waterproof and wind proof and light ! I wish it would be instead of light grey some other fun color … Otherwise I like my North face coat !

Love this jacket the shiny black isn’t too shiny either it’s light weight and perfect to layer. It ll be great here in Washington for winter spring and fall it’s a good year round coat!

Seriously one of the lightest jackets ever and perfectly warm. Can tend to make me look a little bulky though.
Boise G –
I want to love this coat. It looks great on me. The sleeves are just fine until I extend my arm, like to drive or ride a bike, then they are way to short. I am 5’9″ and 145 lbs, but they shouldn’t be this short. I have issues since I got my coat with the zipper. It can tweaked where the zipper pulls do not line up at the bottom. I have to struggle to get them to line up and accept the opposing zipper pull. I brought it to the North Face store in Boise and the dude there said that maybe I can wait until it’s not so cold out and then send it it and they can try to replace the zipper. Now I shouldn’t have to pay this much and replace a zipper on a new coat! Come on NF, give a girl a break and exchange my coat!
Shelbster –
This is super cute on, and I get tons of compliments. The drawstring gives it style and flattering. The color is perfect , it looks different in person than advertised but I actually like the color better.
Hopi –
I love this coat. It is very lightweight and comfortable, but surprisingly warm. I love the slightly longer length, as it covers tunics and keeps me warmer. It is great for running errands, going to work, going for walks outside. It packs down well for travel. The color is extremely versatile. I would buy again!
Disappointedmom –
I purchased this coat for my teen daughter. It is stylish and fits just right. Easily fits into her backpack during the day while at school since kids can not utilize their lockers due to Covid. Everything is great about it except for the major issue of the zipper not working and constantly getting stuck. I purchased it in in October and was told it was too late to exchange fir a new one (past 60 days), but that they could repair and it would take several weeks..while it’s cold and she needs it. Disappointed.
