I think this is my new favorite jacket. The outer material is very hydrophobic; I wore it in the rain today and the raindrops were beading up on it or falling right off, which was pretty cool (I don’t see that strong of a hydrophobic effect on even my actual raincoat!). The inner material is super soft and fuzzy, and it keeps me warm, which I love. This jacket is a bit bigger than the other North Face jackets/sweaters I have, which makes it easy to layer underneath. The back goes slightly lower, which I’m sure would be really useful for someone who bikes around a lot. It does seems a little long on me, but I’m short. The hood is a really good size for me, although I do kind of wish there were drawstrings around it so I could tighten it around my head if it’s super windy out, but I can’t see it being a huge problem because it does fit pretty well. My one small gripe with this jacket is the zipper is kind of hard to initially zip, but it’s not a huge deal because I love basically everything else about this jacket. For reference, I’m 5’1″ at around 118 pounds, and I got a SM, which fits me quite well.

From the moment it arrived and I picked it up, I was in love with the material of this jacket. Finding the right size however, was a tricky journey. Normally I am a medium in most things North Face, but this jacket has an ‘Active Fit’ instead of the classic ‘Relaxed Fit’. The medium is a bit too tight in the hip area, just right in the chest for me, while the large is just right in the hips, but too big in the chest area. I am 5’8″, 170lbs, 36B, 10-12 pants. I’m leaning toward the medium because of my intended use, but for thick layering or a loose fit, I would recommend the large.

My daughter LOVES this jacket! It is perfect for fall in New England and winter in Austin. It is also very flattering. It’s pretty fitted, so consider that in choosing your size. She’s a tall, slender DI volleyball player with broad shoulders and athletic arm muscles and she wears a large, although the medium looked fine. No room for a thick sweater, though. She’s normally a size six but sometimes needs an eight for her shoulders (or length) or a four for her waist!:) 5’11” and 150 lbs of mostly muscle. GREAT jacket!

This coat is super warm and cozy. The inside layer is soft and warm. I absolutely love this coat. I would definitely buy another! I am usually in-between a small and a medium, but decided with a medium so a sweatshirt or sweater could fit underneath.

Love this jacket except for two things. The zipper is not 2-way reversible so you can’t just open the bottom for sitting in your car. And the hip area is not as generously cut as the rest of the jacket. I always size up in a jacket and it was still not enough to have a little ease for layering a sweater. It seems to be made with the intent to fit closer than I like. On the plus side, the lining fleece is slick so it slides easily over your clothes. Not difficult to get the sleeves on at all. And the eggplant color is gorgeous and it is sooo soft and warm. Debating going 2 sizes up, I like it so much.

We saw in a local sporting goods store. Able to order wife’s favorite color. It is a Christmas gift so she won’t open until Christmas. However she lives the jacket and I’m very hopeful that she will love it.

I needed an in between coat for walking my dog in Ohio weather that’s too chilly for a hoodie but not cold enough for a parka. This is perfect. I am 5’4 and 150 lbs and a medium in most everything but I read the measurements and sized up to a large, so happy I did and would recommend sizing up.

Listen this is a great coat kept me warm in Chicago weather but check this. I got candle wax spilt all over it. Don’t ask how. I scraped it off and scrubbed w a sponge. Heavy wash twice AND ITS GONE! Stop. North face you have all my money now.

So I normally wear a Women’s Large/XL (tall if available). I’m 5’11 and roughly 250lbs. I had all intentions to purchase the XL size of this jacket, but it was sold out! The only size left was 3XL (not the plus size version where the arms are short). So I purchased it before my coupon expired and I intended to exchange it for the correct size once it was back in stock. To my UTTER SHOCK AND SURPRISE the 3XL fit perfectly. Great sleeve length and overall size. I can wear a sweater underneath and there’s no restriction to my movement. I’m not someone who cares what the number says on the tag, so I’ve decided to keep the jacket, but I’ve had my male friends try it on too and see, but they also would have guessed that it’s a women’s large/XL after showing them my other NorthFace jackets and sizes.
Also, the 3X tag was cut out of my jacket when I initially received it, so that was weird, but the side tag was still there. Maybe this jacket was a return from another customer?

I work in a refrigerated warehouse. It gets around 32 degrees. It’s kind of too heavy for my type of work. Sleeve a little too long. It is very cute though. So I’ll keep it. It’s not super warm compared to my Omni heat jacket but it does the job. I wouldn’t recommend this for snow or colder tempts
Becky –
I love everything about this jacket. I bought my first one in 2011 and just bought another in 2022 to add a new color to the mix. I LOVE the soft faux fur inside, it is so soft! And since I’ve had one of these for the past 11 years, I can attest that it is durable and holds up well. I love how the 2022 version is slightly longer so it provides good coverage if you’re wearing leggings. 10/10 recommend!

I was looking for a fleece jacket to replace my old one, and I am beyond happy with this purchase. I’ve washed it as instructed and it’s keeping beautifully. It is such a comfort to wear and to know it will protect against wind is an added bonus!

Love this jacket. Lightweight but warm. Bought one for my daughter also.
Priya –
It’s light weight and suitable for light to medium cold. Can also withstand light rain. Not good for freezing temperatures
Stephanie –
I love this jacket. Great for cold weather in Southern California. I have a prior generation of this jacket. My previous jacket has held up well wash after wash and I’ve had it for 10+ years. There is nothing wrong with my previous jacket. And why I purchased this jacket is for the longer length in the back settling at around the hip, I’m 5’2″. My previous jacket is a bit shorter settling at around the waist. The only critique about the new jacket is the heat transfer of the logo. The logo of my previous jacket (and other North Face jackets that I own) are embroidered. The embroidery lends a rich feel to the jacket.

I love this jacket! I would recommend it to anyone who looking for something light and warm. I would recommend for weather conditions 40 and higher to actually keep you warm! The fit is good too, not too tight but not too loose either.

I liked this jacket it looks cool, you can dress it up or down
Mermaid –
I absolutely love this jacket it’s warm and comfortable. Sadly I bought the wrong size so I had to return and get a larg . I’m 5’1 128lbs and had originally got a medium but found it restricting on the arms and shoulder blade so I’ll get getting a large . Other than that I absolutely love it and I’m sad to be without it for a little bit
Nanthini –
It’s pretty good, I like the color and the fit is as mentioned. Got the L first a bit big but returned it for the medium, fits perfectly when it’s the only jacket and is somewhat snug when I wear a hoodie underneath but that’s good.
Laurie –
I would buy this coat again. The fit and finish is perfect. Great weight and pretty warm, especially with a layer underneath. Very windproof and lives up to my expectations.
Yoseline –
The hoodie is comfortable especially since I’m always wearing hoodies or zip ups and it has been great for college.
Victoria –
An amazing jacket. It is my go-to for wind, rain, and cold. The hood, fleece lining, and generous pockets make it perfect.
