The Small is a good fit for someone who is trim with a 30 to 32 waist. I’m 5’10” and my son is 6 feet. We’re both about 160 lbs. There was plenty of room to sit on a chairlift and crouch while skiing and not be uncomfortable in the crotch. Plenty of room for a long underwear layer or two. If you want a baggy look like in snowboarding fashion, or you’ve got a gut, get a Medium.

Bought these for our son for Christmas. He absolutely LOVES them. The most comfortable pair of bibs he has ever worn. He will use them mainly for skiing. He will also use them for practicing shooting skeet, sporting clays, trap and 5 stand during the cold winter months here in Michigan. The quality is remarkable, and we are glad we decided to spend the money on the North Face brand!! So many pockets to store necessary items without being bulky, quality zippers.
