I recently purchased the NorthFace pants and I am so pleased with them. The standard fit and traditional five-pocket-design lines create a modern classic look. The waistband is constructed with a metal snap, zip-fly, and five belt loops, keeping my pants secure. I also appreciate the belt loop at the center back that is made with durable webbing. Additionally, the expanded coin pocket on the right side and traditional rivet placement gives these pants a hint of sophistication while creating reinforcement for added durability. The invisible-zip pocket on the side of the right thigh adds to the convenience of these pants. Furthermore, other details like two drop-in patch pockets at the back, darting at the knees for articulation, and a Y-yoke design make these pants an ideal choice for a casual look with a touch of style. When you roll up your pant legs everyone can see you’re sporting NorthFace with their reflective tape inside leg openings and heat transfer logo on the back-right waistband. With all these features, I’m never more free than when I’m wearing my NorthFace modern classic pants!

I really like the fit and feel of these pants. Very comfortable. Slim fit and stretchy material allows for a full range of motion. Deep front pockets are much appreciated. I will probably purchase another pair.

I really like the material that these pants are made from. The blend of fibers is perfect and has the feel of comfort with durability. I like the style but the fit disappoints. The waist is perfect but the length is basically 2 inches to long . When purchased a waist size was given but not length. This for me is the big problem with these North Face Five-Pocket Pants. i ordered the regular inseam but wonder if the shorter inseam would have been a better choice. Trying to change the length will perhaps defeat the good style of these pants.

the first “if I could give zero stars” review of my life. The fabric is the most lint-attracting of any clothing I own. Northface offered no help outside mailing them for review. I donated them.

A new take on the Motion Pants of 2017 and 2019. The cut is the same with enough room in the thigh for people who hike and bike a lot but without the massive room in the seat of “relaxed fit” pants. The gusset in the crotch is still there. The big change is the fabric, in the motion it was rather canvas like the new fabric is slightly smoother and now somewhat stretchy. The reflective band inside the bottom cuff is gone, or moved to a different version that didn’t fit me as well.

These Patagonia pants are excellent for my work on site as Safety manager, I can wear them to management meetings and then out onto the field. The hidden pocket is wonderful allowing me to secure my phone and retrieve it quickly. The fit is perfect and with Patagonia I can count on it to always be the same. Thanks for a great pare of pants.
