Love the style, love the color options, love the soft uppers on my beleaguered feet, but the soles are so stiff and the insoles so not cushioned, that I felt every little edge of my custom orthotics – even though I only tried walking on the rug in the dining room. I even tried adding an extra pair of insoles! Back to the Sorels….. I will add that Zappos prompted me to order a 9 from my usual 8.5, but that wasn’t necessary: the 8.5 (39.5 euro size) was just right.

These are my most comfortable winter boots. The soles have the right amount of flex. I did replace the stock footbed with another set, but I do that with all my boots. The size ran true.
