ANITA –
Yes it is exactly what I wanted.I bought it for my granddaughter’s birthday. She is heading to UNC Chapel Hill for college and she needed a jacket so I got it for her.
Diana –
I wear S normally but took M, wanted it to be a bit loose to wear hoodie under parka. Water repellent is fantastic!
Light weighted but keeps me out of rain and wind.
MM –
High quality, comfortable, light waterproof windproof shell, great length and a lovely color. I wear it everyday, it’s perfect for fall in the northeast. Main problem is the pockets they are set too high, so theyre hard to access, i cant use them to put my hands in while walking due to how high they are, and if i put anything inside them it makes me look like i have a massive belly sticking out. And there are no inner pockets, it needs inner pockets.
Also, the velcro along the zipper is nice to have but totally unnecessary. Beware, it snags on sweaters and scarves.
Missy –
Personal Jacket. Loved it Great Material.
Roxi –
To keep dry without being hot since I live in Texas

The women’s parka is nice. BUT, I noticed that your newer coats no longer have embroidered logos on them. INSTEAD, the logos are rubberized “stick-ons”. I have a Columbia coat that has a “stick-on” also. It now reads “umbia”. The rest of it wore off. The shoulder belt of my car’s seat belt has rubbed off the “Col”. As a result of North Face cheapening its products by using stick-ons instead of embroidered logos, you have lost my husband’s business, too.

Went to Alaska on a cruise. Went to see the glaciers on a cool and rainy day.

Fantastic color but there are a few things I don’t like. First, the A-line shape is fine for pear shapes, but I’m more top heavy. Second, what’s with the goofy pockets? I’m top heavy so the pocket flaps going all the way to the top of the jacket are not flattering. Third, I can’t stand the little Velcro tabs on the front opening. I wear a lot of active wear and nothing destroys it like Velcro. I do like the elastic sleeves, the fabric, the hood, the color and the length.
Lindsey –
Amazing quality, worth the buy! The XS fits me perfectly, and I am 125lbs, and 5’6. Has good weight to it and water resistant.
Emily –
Great quality rain jacket. Rating 4 stars because the pocket placement is a bit odd but still functional.
Christopher –
Great jacket but not of Fan of the pocket placement.
Deborah –
Had to send back. TNF tall girls need longer sleeves! I was so disappointed because the color and fit are really cool other than sleeve length.
Jewels –
I Like the overall fit and length. But whoever designed the pocket style and placement of the pockets should be FIRED! The pockets are inconvenient and hard to access. They are too high to use comfortably.
Ann –
Love the color, fits well and works to keep me dry.
Leann –
North face is a staple in my wardrobe and this addition just exemplifies it
Lisa –
This is a great looking jacket.
Elizabeth –
Very nice jacket – the parka style much more practical ( more coverage) for running errands, running into work, etc. on rainy days
The –
Great jacket. Keeps me warm and allows me to layer as well as being waterproof. Literally ran the water from my sink on the sleeves and watched all the water slide right off. Amazing!
Pamela –
Great fit, normally a large. Glad I bought the XL.
Olivia –
This jacket is great in the wind and super cute!
Kaylyn –
It fits great! I got an XS and I feared it would be too tight, but it’s a perfect fit for my small frame and sleeve length wise. It’s wind resistant, but definitely wear thermal layers underneath if wearing in colder weather. I love the color as well.
Taylor –
Sleek, waterproof, flattering it’s a great jacket!
Denise –
Everywhere around town. Great to layer with if need

I bought this for a trip to London in October, and it was the perfect weight, needed a sweater too some days and just this jacket on other days. Some reviewers noted to size up. I would say it is sized to fit, not really to wear over a bulky sweater (I’m between M and L and like the L better). I have ended up wearing this almost every day walking the dog here in Houston during Fall and Winter. Plan to take on a hiking trip at the end of Summer, that will be a true test of how waterproof it is. Overall very happy with this purchase and the quality.
Skater –
Great for travel. Love the long length
